hi all. this is small invite for you to spend some time interacting. all of you showed interest in being a part of (so called) ART01 event in Berlin. let's start making our plans visible and lets chat-I'll drop some ideas once in a while here and if you like you can subvert it, add to it, delete it, make it better etc.:

1.this is process based, collaborative, transdsciplinary art practice that focuses on sharing.

2. Beauty emerges not from the object produced in cooperation, but from cooperation and interaction itself.

GAME

during  a workshop about housing in bratislava, we (b# and majo) started to  work out an idea for a game. concretely we were starting to think about  how different groups of people can be accomodated in housing and living  situations.
from  this we started to develop a board game which 'plays' in an empty house  and which is a kind of a character game. we started to develop the  characters according to the question which people could possibly be  using such a space.

this game and the idea behind you find explained more in detail here:

the  game is only half-finished now - resp. the rules are of course the most  difficult. also that we haven't really played it in fuel gear yet, as  we miss a prototype.
in berlin we would like to discuss the game, maybe produce a prototype and work on the rules. or maybe overthrow them.

the  game is a 'social' game in a way as it is about an empty house and the  homeless guy, the punk squatter, the homeless family, the old couple and  others have to survive in a trashed down house and adapt it for their  living together with other people.
to keep it short, this is kind of what we are thinking about. free for discussion ;)

Nice to have you here - pertinent subject, esspecially with me trying to find a place to stay during Berlin event :)

3.  Value is created by the process of exchange, not by the object produced  with collaboration, as the case was with collaborative works in the art  world up to now. Value is in participation and solidarity, not in  competition.

Hello Guys!

I  am happy to help as much as I can and I will be in Berlin on these  dates! I would love to do an Audio Visual art gallery- showcase  for   20m together with my friend with a theremin... There will be  a sound  system and projector?

This  could happen at some point during these dates...  I think this  happening needs some party flavour...  even if it is in the format of a  small showcase!

Lets get together because as you have probably noticed, Europe is being eaten by individualism, again!

Thank you and lets change!

1. Linux install festival - free your computer! Volunteer based Linux
install event with accompanying chat-like education about good points of open source software. Food, talks, drinks brought by participants. Each participant bring his/her own computer/laptop.

2. Radio broadcasting - free your media: small scale FM radio installing and experimental broadcast.

3. Food exchange - free your stomach: create food and make it art.

4. VJ/DJ party – free your collaborative creativity, participate in
creating real time collaborative performances.

I  suggest to have a SHOW CASE of 20-30m.  This gathers people and will   tend to create an impact! Let it be improvised?  Why not, we could come   out with some sort of structure to go with it and avoiding having the   sound spectrum always full!  Pedro Zaz

only thing is how to get sound system?

hey all,

greetz from kreuzberg!

[ Note to Dieter + Mona : A friend of mine from Croatia is doing an ARTLAB event while you are here in Berlin : see here:  http://piratepad.net/oe4gQRtuer , maybe you'd like to JOIN US :)  ]

1. just so ya know, i have a good projector on hand at the moment...

2. i'm up for dj/vj possibilities
( don't mind playing sets on the softer side if that's called for  )

...

3. i will have 2 visual arts friends visiting at the time of ART01...
(cc'd here )

dieter puntigam ( a great tagtool artist who has collaborated with me on vj gigs ) http://www.greensun.at/

mona  caron who is a great muralist, who was looking to paint a mural  somewhere while in berlin... so if the gallery is up for that and into  her work... maybe we could include that somehow... Or she could try her  hand at the tagtool program is dieter is able to come

...

4. my own issues, would be to add something about art and survival in the 21st century... new forms for ARts+Praxis...

(that's what we are doing with This project :

have to see if/how to work that in...

...

ok i'm gonna post this on the
pirate pad as well...

salut!
Pod

now we are getting there!
and 4th and 5th point following ones written up at lines 4 - 26

4.  Tools (media) for interaction can be various, but FOSS (free open  source software) proved to work in accordance to ideas of sharing, as it  is itself produced in the similar manner – with cooperation of many.

5.  As the focus is how to sustain a fruitful process, not how to create an  object, a question of finished work becomes obsolete, and is replaced  with one that asks how to exchange ideas for the purpose of creating  radically new models of coexistence.

projector and tag tool, great thing!! can do live VJing with the music!

we need to think in loops - tagtool to projector to camera to VJing software to something else
